Success Stories

In 2015 we were able to rescue CF from a kill pen. Thanks to the help of many volunteers, this story has a happy ending. Read more about this fantastic rescue!

One of the most beautiful stories we could possibly ever share was written by one of my students. With the kind permission of her parent, read her two stories here and here.

Lakota Warrior

Lakota Rearing
30 year old Lakota Warrior retired from his second career giving riding lessons. He will now resume playing on the cranberry bogs in Carver, Ma.

Rain

Rain after rehab

Rain was a difficult case as the veterinarian who monitored him regularly found the reason for his lack of appetite and poor health impossible to discern even with many blood tests and examinations. After months of supportive care and trying different solutions Rain was finally able to rally his health, gain weight, and even become as glossy as any show horse. His foster home who gave him much love during his long recover was ultimately the home that adopted him. We are very grateful to the numerous supporters whose generous donations of time, effort, and money ultimately resulted in a bright future for Rain.

Siri

Siri
Siri has a touch of Arthritis…but who doesn’t at a certain age. She still has contributions to make!

Beautiful Siri at her semi-retirement home.

Tuffy

Tuffy
Sue and Tuffy had parallel losses. When Sue decided to give a horse a home she had no idea that Tuffy needed her support as much as he needed hers.

Together they share happy rides, and lighter spirits.
