Benefit Trail Ride
Saddle up, meet friends old and new, have a fun “Safari” and support horses who need your help!
Amazing Grace Equine is very grateful to board member/trail rider “Charlie” Williams for organizing our first big fund raising event. More info here
Charlie has made sure that the ride which takes place on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Myles Standish State Forest in Carver Massachusetts is NEHT affiliated so that the 12 miles you accrue on this ride will count toward your tally. If you are not an NEHT member you are still welcome to come and join the fun!
Hitch up your trailer, load your horse, toss in your tack, and meet us at Myles Standish State Park at the Halfway Pond Parking area. we ride out rain or shine! Entries are registered beginning at 8:30 AM, we ride out at 10AM! Lunch is, of course, provided after the ride. The donation for entering is $25. and prizes will be awarded to those who “bag” the best “wild animals” that they spot along their ride (don’t worry these are guaranteed not to bite or scratch. ☺
Amazing Grace Equine is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, so while you are helping horses and preventing them from being shipped across international borders you will be rewarded by being able to have all your donations tax deductible. Download the entry form here, or contact us regarding questions you might have. Nancy Kitchens has invited friends on Facebook to this event, so make sure that you check out the growing list of riders already attending!
If you are unable to attend yet would like to support the horses currently in our care or enable us to help more horses locally feel free to securely donate securely via our paypal account on this site, or mail your donations to Amazing Grace Equine PO Box 465, Middleboro MA. (Remember this is the address for donations of those NOT riding out with us on May 22, the ride entry address is on the attached entry form.) you are of course welcome to show up and enter on the Sunday of the ride as well!
See you there!
